Garret C. Tufte was born in 1984 in Winona, Minnesota. He currently resides in Lawrence, which is near Kansas City. Clifford Brooks was born in Athens, Georgia. His first collection of poetry, “The Draw of Broken Eyes & Whirling Metaphysics” was nominated for a Pulitzer and Georgia Author of the Year.  His second poetry collection, “Athena Departs: Gospel of a Man Apart,” was nominated for Georgia Author of the Year.
