Perry Shepard, Writer and Visual Artist

Perry and family live in rural Douglas County, KS after adventures that carried him to Vietnam, Mexico, and a variety of states (of mind & of USA).  He is a Vietnam veteran, an artist, a worker dedicated to lifting youth out of crisis, a loving husband and more.

 

Perry is a person of many experiences and a prolific writer of many genres: novels "The Hero versus Me and Monkey Jo" and "Hard Love", co-writer of co-wrote two plays in the anthology "Annabelle"; several collections of poetry; and a collection of short stories.  Perry's visual art includes sculpture, drawings, paintings, and photography.
